We believe all seniors deserve a healthy and happy life so we've taken special steps to help provide that to each of our residents.
Local Organic Food
 Eating nutritious food is essential to good health in aging adults which is why we use locally grown, organic ingredients in our seasonal menus whenever possible. 
Non-Toxic
 We go the extra mile in providing a safe, comfortable and healthy living environment by keeping unhealthy products in the home to a minimum. From natural body soaps, shampoos and toothpastes to non-toxic laundry detergent we don't use any toxic hygiene products or house cleaning supplies!
Holistic Activities
 We aim to bring meaningful purpose to day to day life while increasing the quality of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health of all of our residents (including our staff!).

Board and Care Services Include:
  • Care & Supervision: Our passionate and educated caregivers are on duty during daytime hours to assist our residents with their daily needs and on standby during the night should there be any kind of emergency or urgent need.
  • ​Hygiene Assistance: We safely and respectfully aid with bathing, grooming, dressing and incontinence needs.
  • ​Medication Management: Our staff is trained to manage all medications using specialized software. We also have most medications delivered so theres no need to pick them up.
  • ​Meal Preparation: We provide wholesome meals and snacks and can also assist with special diets and eating needs.
  • ​Housekeeping: We take care of all the housekeeping which includes full laundry service.
  • ​Fun and Edutainment: Everyone is different so we get to know our residents and cater to what they like to do.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are pets allowed to visit?
Yes. We allow family and friends to come and visit with their pets. We also utilize pet therapy programs which allows volunteers to bring their pets to share with our residents.
Do I need to set an appointment before visiting?
We know how happy it makes our residents to have visitors so we encourage family and friends to stop by anytime. If you're not a resident, family or friend then simply contact us to schedule an appointment and we would be happy to accommodate you.
Are residents able to go to events or on outings?
Absolutely! We know how important family time is so we encourage families to take their loved ones out whenever they can. Just call us ahead of time and we'll have your loved one ready.
Do you accept insurance?
Our residents primarily pay from their own pockets, sometimes with the help of their families. Unfortunately many insurance companies do not cover the costs of living in an RCFE. Be sure to check with your insurance company if your unsure. There is an Assisted Living Waiver program here in Sacramento that can help with the cost. Click here to learn more.
How much does living in a board and care cost?
There are many factors that effect the cost of living in a board and care home like the quality of the facility and the level of care. We work with families to help find solutions and overcome challenges when creating a budget. If its time for your loved one to find a board and care but your unsure if there's enough money in your budget to cover the cost simply contact us by clicking Here and we can help. 
Do you accept people on Hospice?
Yes we accept people needing or already receiving hospice care. We know these are sensitive times for our residents and their families so should one of our residents later need the services of a hospice agency we will assist in connecting them with the right one and work diligently to ensure their families have peace of mind.
